Überblick : Dieses Special erzählt die Geschichte von Bardock, dem Vater von Son-Goku und erklärt, wie Son-Goku vom Planeten Vegeta auf die Erde gekommen ist. Bardock ist mit seinen Gefährten in Freezers Auftrag auf Eroberungs-feldzug. Als sie den Planeten Kannassa einnehmen, wird Bardock von Thoma verletzt. Dieser prophezeit ihm, dass er von nun an von widerlichen Visionen geplagt werde und das Ende seines Volkes voraussehen wird. Bardock schenkt ihm zunächst keinen Glauben, doch als ihn die ersten Visionen heimsuchen und er feststellen muss, dass sie zur Wirklichkeit werden, bekommt er es mit der Angst zu tun. Er erkennt, daß Freezer seine Freunde in einen Hinterhalt gelockt hat und sein Volk vernichten möchte.
